The Altar Society organises the flowers for the altar and side altars. It also takes care of the altar linen and the shrines.

Role in our lives

Care for the environment, and the space in which we worship help everyone present to raise their minds and hearts to God.

In our Parish, members work on a rota basis to arrange flowers for the altar each week.

How to prepare, participate, give

Parishioners can give to this important ministry in our parish through the committee who provide flowers, materials, care for the linen, clean, adorn the altar and arrange flowers.

The society uses the flower room for its work and meets monthly on the first Tuesday, after 10am mass
