Baptism Ministry

When a family wish to present their child for Baptism they are invited to contact the Parish Office, 4972215. They can discuss the dates of Baptism, take the initial information and arrange a meeting in the week before the Baptism with the priest who will celebrate the sacrament.

The Baptism team assists families to prepare for the baptism of a family member.

“For we are God’s masterpiece, created in the Messiah Jesus to do good works that God prepared long ago to be our way of life” Eph 3:10

Role in our Lives

Preparation is a key element of any significant celebration in our lives.
Baptism is the first significant moment of celebration in our journey of faith. When a child is presented for baptism the family will be invited to prepare.
“The role of evangelisation is precisely to educate people in the faith in such a way as to lead each individual Christian to live the sacraments as true sacraments of faith – and not receive them passively or to undergo them” Pope Paul V1.
