Liturgical Seasons
The Liturgical Seasons mark the passage of time which is the context in which we live in our relationship with God.
“Christ yesterday and today the beginning and the end, the Alpha and the Omega. All the time belongs to him and all the ages to him be glory and power through every age forever” Amen.
Role in our Lives
The liturgical season helps our relationship with Christ to develop from season to season.
In our Parish, we celebrate each season focusing on the defining characteristics of each season, e.g., the use of the different colours.
How to prepare, participate, give
We can give, as members of our Parish, by serving on any of the Liturgical Ministries for which we have a calling.
As a community we prepare for each liturgical season familiarising ourselves with the liturgical calendar. We open ourselves to the meaning of the events we celebrate.
